        Rebecca, from an  upper class Los  Angeles family, and  Henry,
        from choir-singing, tradition-bound  Midwestern roots, are  in

Plot Outline:

Nicole Oakley, the troubled daughter of a wealthy congressman, attends public school in the upscale community of Pacific Palisades.
